I'm a 13 year old girl who is a serious dancer. Next March, my studio is attending a big event in California for a week and I am dying to go. The trouble is, my studio goes every 2 years, and my parents want me to wait until 11th grade. All of my friends are going this year, and I will do anything to go. I need to raise $400 in a few weeks, and $2000 by next February. I've already done the standard baby-sitting flyers and asked around for yard work, but it isn't enough. I am semi-busy during the summer with a few very-low pay jobs, but I really need to come up with this money. I can't do the newspaper route, our nieghborhood is already set, and as for the yard sale, if we have one, all the money is going to my older sister's college tuition next year. Please help! I need suggestions!

check with some local companies to see if they will sponsor you - wish means donate monies for your trip

also - setup a car wash(manual) with proceeds going to your trip

but most of all, be sure it is what your parents wish you to do ..... afterall they are responsible for you and their opinion is what matters most at this time .....
you are young and there may be more than one chance to go on this trip
