OK all I want to know is why when I go into questions talking about the "feud" there are people saying such ignorant stuff it makes me SICK! like one I just read from an answerer named Elvis :
"ya she kicked Rosie's a**..good one..and I hope she doesn't leave. She will of course be having a baby, something Rosie can't do. I wish her all the best. Everyone should stand behind her courage..and Alicia Silverstone needs her butt next outta here. "
OR from another answerer named Faires rule the land :
" Rosie just bought her kids"
those are direct quotes from their answers!.. PLEASE answer me what Rosie ADOPTING (not buying) her kids has anthing to do with her and Elisabeth's "feud"??? I do not Hate either one (Rosie and Elisabeth) BUT it makes me SICK to see people saying BULL crap like that!! Rosie Adopted 4 beautiful kids. without Rosie those kids would have grown up in foster care. Rosie gave those kids a future!! Adopting children is THE MOST UNSELFISH thing you can do

having kids the "natural" way does not make you a better parent or even a good parent.... being a parent has NOTHING to do with how or where your kids came from! I like both Rosie and Elisabeth ( sometimes I disagree with both of them) I am just so sick of people saying Crap about Rosie because she didn't "have her kids the natural way"
SO WHAT?????????????
so what rosie adopted her kids?? that makes her less of a person?? I don't think so she did a wonderful thing giving those kids a home and someone to love them !! those are her kids! where they came from does NOT matter at all!!! or at least it shouldn't matter!!

Actually Faires, you are way over and above the line.
All these haters need to stop acting like children and grow up.
I don't care you don' like Rosie, that is your opinion. But what i find funny and ironic is that you say that Rosie is ignorant and obnoxious, but what you all fail to see (and it doesn't surprise me) is that you are the ones being ignorant and obnoxious by calling her a "fat lesbian" , saying that she "bought her kids" and so on.
So if Rosie is ignorant and obnoxious, then don't stoop to her level. Actually most of you are acting below her level.
At least Rosie was right about one thing, she knew exactly what you haters were going to say about her fighting with "poor little" elisabeth. You have proven her right, Great Job.

first of all, you are right in that adoping children is very, very unselfish. Those children who are adopted are blessed...
however, I think folks are just upset with what Rosie said about the war and stuff like that. we tend to pick on the closest thing and I guess those folks thought it funny to attack the kids. that is not funny at all...I am not a Rosie fan and more of a Elizabeth fan due to the "spat" but what Rosie did in adopting the children was good.

They would have had a future regardless but to answer your question....it depends on what the parental involvement is....if they are constantly on the move with their "career" then maybe a really good foster home would be better.
Ever see Rosie with her kids (other than a PR event)?
If Rosie's behavior and character are anything like her tv personality, then she is an abusive mother - intollerant, impatient, hostile in an microinch, mean, cold hearted with a sharp tongue......
How much damage does that do to young kids......their self-esteem, their confidence, their ability to deal with bullies, etc
BTW: What does Bush have to do with this questions?

You are right about Rosie's children being totally unrelated ... with all else going on in the world today, this whole "feud" thing is so meaningless ... I don't watch The View to begin with, but by now I'd be embarrassed if I did.

RO's adoption of her kids has nothing to do with the "feud" with EH. I saw the show and was a little horrified by it. I know both of the women's opinions but both had the right to state her opinion WITHOUT interruption. Alicia Silverstone acted horribly; she was so incredibly rude that I have lost all respect for her.

Rosie's children should never have been brought into the issues on "The View". Rosie's problem is that she feels the only worthwhile opinion out there is hers and the people who agree with her the only ones right. She is intolerant of anything in opposition to her opinion. I do not share her views or lifestyle but I also believe to hate the sin not the sinner. I used to enjoy watching her program many years ago and found her very entertaining and warm. Now she is just hard headed and intolerant

Well since you asked and as a matter of fact you have asked. You see Rosie is so judgemental towards others that she fails to see that it takes courage to make babies and give birth. She called Elizabeth a coward..how is Elisabeth a coward???.It takes a lot of strength to be a mom and give birth buddy.. And that's were Rosie can't even compare. She has no backbone in giving birth because she never will. So who is the coward..what buying kids show's strength??.You can't speak for those kids you don't know what life they have dealing with a parent as violent and aggressive as Rosie..
What you fail to see in my point is that sure it's EASY to get some money to go out and buy babies, but give me a break can she do the real thing.
Ya she adopted those kids, it's very nice, BUT you do not know how those children are being raised, you do not have that knowledge, how about this buddy, they might even be abused since Rosie has a bad temper. What if she is abusive towards those children. Those kids are not puppies buying them as a litter they need love and a positive role model. Rosie is not is; she has admitted to taking anti-depressants and is angry at anyone that does not agree with her.
You are totally out of line. Just like Rosie.

I could not agree more!!! It disgusts me to think that people actually think that way! just like you said adopting kids IS the most unselfish thing anyone can do!!
FAIRES: I have MADE a baby and Given birth "the natural way" and that doesn't make me a better mom then those who adopt children! I agree that Elisabeth is not a coward in being a mom... but I also don't think Rosie is either and Her innocent children should not be brought into this stupid mess... DO YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH EVERYONE WHO ADOPTS CHILDREN or just Rosie??.... do you have a problem with Angelina Jolie?? and Sheryl Crow??? they all adopted kids are they cowards too?? NO I do not think they are... like I said I have a beautiful 19month old baby whom I love so much he is the center of my world... my fiance and I conceived him the "natural way" and I gave birth to him October26 2005 the "natural way" I do not think that that makes me a better mom then the moms out their who unfortunately can't have children of their own and in order to be a mom they need to adopt! I think adopting children is so unselfish.... giving birth does not make you a "real mother" just like being a "sperm donor" doesn't make you a "real dad" anyone can do those things but it doesn't make you a parent! being a good parent does... Loving your kids no matter what, providing for them, disiplining them etc.... my aunt had her daughter 15months ago and her daughters "father" hasn't called, hasn't seen her, hasn't asked to see pictures of her..... HE is NOT a dad just a "sperm donor"!! my dad is not the one who got my mom pregnant . my dad is my step dad who has been my only dad for the last 10 years... my "real dad" is still in the picture he calls once a month (sometimes less then that) to see how me and his grandson is but that is all ... my step dad was there for me when I was a teen going through that crap .. he was there when I was pregnant and he was there in the delivery room with me and my son's father when I had my son... he has been an amazing papa (grandpa) to my son.... so my point is there is MORE, MUCH MUCH MORE to being a parent then biology!!
I am sure both Elisabeth and Rosie have good points and bad points! EVERYONE DOES!! ... but like the person who asked this question... I am also disgusted with people making comments like that about Rosie's kids... SO WHAT she ADOPTED!!! her kids she did not buy her kids SHE ADOPTED THEM! I am not trying to say that she deserves a medal but she does deserve some RESPECT or at least her kids deserve respect.. yes she opens her mouth maybe a little too much but don't we have the right to freedom of speech??

Rosie's children charities also help millions of children around the world and she is a big time generous donater to disabled Veterans and Veteran causes. The people you are speaking of are to be ignored. They are no where close to being the caliber of a person that Rosie O'Donnell is. Boycott their ignorance; don't bring anymore attention to it.

Didn't she adopt those kids when they were babies?? They would NOT have grown up unadopted because white babies are in high demand. I wonder why she didn't adopt a black or chinese baby....she is obviously racist. If she really cared about kids and not just the perfect WHITE ones she'd have adopted that little foster girl she had a couple of years back. That girl wasn't perfect enough for Rosie. She wasn't a danger. Rosie just didn't like gettting off her fat butt to deal w/ her.
