Never. Most of the people I've worked with on lobster boats had crabs. I don't wanna catch anything. Well..... besides fish.
I'm afraid they'd get mad and wanna fight oyster the pot and get the rest of the crew riled up. No, I think it would be best if I just clammed up and made sure I was dolphin to all and anenemie to none.

While on the boat? doubtful , It's hard to sneak up on ones self. MOst all Lobstermen work alone, it's not like a fishing boat, lot smaller boat the Lobsters claws are fitted with Elastics once brought on board, and then put in ages for xport to the market. NO time for "Pinching". With this much sarcasm, thats the best you got?

Sure! But if it were other than a lobster, I would say no!
I love lobsters, so maybe I would get a free one from Cape Ann.

My skipper was Claude Balls. Boy, what a crab he was. We always had to be serious when on board. He was a hard boiled guy. At over 6'4", he was no shrimp. I worked on a waterfowl farm where we took turns goosing each other. It put some of us in a fowl mood.
