I know it's just the width of the new paint, which is very little, but still isn't your place smaller than it was before?

possibly a micrometer, not enough to even notice, would your house seem bigger on the outside if you painted it?

Well, actually mine would be "bigger"...because I would have to wash off the walls first before I painted which would be a thicker layer of accumulated dust and dirt compared to the thickness of the new paint!
(kidding of course).....Technically, you are right. The paint will have a degree of thickness, thus making the interior that much smaller.

no i don't think that's true, but depending on the colour of the paint it may APPEAR smaller eg if u paint it a dark colour like red it would appear smaller than a colour such as yellow.

If you dont remove the last layer of paint yes, but its not noticable unless you live in an ancient house where the residents do it for generations.

Wow,Man,you definitely have to much time on your hands if this is what you think about all the time. In the ''theme of life'' there are many more viable things to ponder then that of which you ask.Educate yourself further in the things that will take your life further and prosper thru out.

it's not really bigger or smaller because of paint, just some colors open a room up and make it look bigger, while others seem to shrink the room-making it look smaller

Different colors have different affects. Some may feel like your room is bigger while others feel like your room is smaller. Choose wisely.

Yes, in theory this is true although no one would notice the missing millimeter of space.
