How true is fight club the movie? Can a person lose his or her mind in that way? If yes then how can I be sure that when I wake up that I didn’t do anything stupid?

Sometimes I wakeup not knowing what hand I write with “and no I am not on drugs” Sometimes I wakeup all messed up… and the really strange thing is I woke up one morning and find my self in my car with a speeding ticket! “have the made the a copy of the ticket as prove.

Yes, people do get what used to be called "Multiple Personality Disorder" (now called "Dissociative Identity Disorder"). You can look it up in the latest version of the "DSM", version 4-R I think is the latest.
How can you be sure you didn't do anything stupid when you wake up? - You can't.

I seriously doubt that Chuck Palahniuk didn't mean for you to think that you would 'wake up and do something stupid'
Tyler Durden was just...Tyler Durden.
Out of all of Chuck Palahniuks books, I love fight club but it is not myf avorite.
My favorite is Invisible Monsters- which by the way they are making a movie for :D
It's about a fashion model who is addicted to being beautiful, until half of her face is blown off in an accident..she loses her career, her best friend, her fiancee..but gets revenge on all of them when she hooks up with a transvestite, Brandy Alexander and they go across country stealing drugs from rich old women.
Oh, a good time to be had by all.
uh, oh yeh....read the book fight club too...it's a BIT different from the movie.
