I found an adapter that I want on eBay, but I don't trust eBay 100%. Is there any other website I can go to to get the exact same product as I have found on eBay? The link is

PLEASE IGNORE THE LINKS TO NEWEGG

Had the posters actually read the specs or understood DVI-D they would not have posted them. Not trying to be rude but hate to see you purchase something that WILL NOT WORK.

The specs on the newegg product.

Converts LCD/ DVI port into VGA port, works with most video cards *********** (will not work with DVI-D and DVIS ports)**********

Below is a good site for explanation and why there are no easy little hookups for DVI-D. Most people are selling $200 converters which are not worth it.

DVI-D= Digital
DVI-A= Analog

The most popular is:

DVI-I=(((((Digital & Analog)))) this is why they are able to make little adapters since the VGA port is ANALOG. You can't simply add an adapter to DVI-D since it is only digital.

Hope this helps and best of luck...

If you mean your computer has only VGA, you have two options practically. First is to get a VGA selector switch (a KVM will do) Second is to upgrade your graphics to support DVI.
