Bad parenting.
Why is a 10yr old on-line enough to become a top contributor? It's disgusting.

It's not about how old a person is. It's about the percentage of best answers a person has. Ten percent and up is what's needed to be a top contributor.

some 10 year olds are smarter then a 40 year old. could of answered questions in music, movies, electronics who knows! but you need to be 13 to sign up for yahoo so......... they shouldnt really be here. saw a9 year old last night....

By having his/her parent help him/her set up a Family Account (because he/she is under 13), then answer questions really well.
