i really ant to get one but the only hing holding me back is the process of it growing back out and im afraid to look like a dude, do u think girls who get mohawks look like guys? and i dont want it to look bad or for people to mistake my gender... but at the same time i REALLY want a mohwk, i think they are just pure amazing...
what do you think?

I LOVE mohawks on chicks! As long as you have a pretty enough face to pull it off, go for it! They're HOT! =)

Girls that have mohawks look really confident because sometimes people think that it looks like a boy hairstyle. i think that girls that get mohawks should wair punk yet girly outfits that describe them. i think that they should b nice 2 people and show that they r kind and that they r girly and still have a mohawk. that would surprise people and they wouldnt mistake u as a guy and that u r wild and kind of yikes. i dont think that people would mistake ur gender. honestly, i am not saying that it wouldnt happen but u know, some people are mean and just want 2 make u feel insecure. so, get a mohawk, they r really cool!!!!!! if u still feel kind of unsure when u get one then wair like really girly-punk outfits. . or instead of a mohawk get a fohawk.fohawks r more girly and u get less mistaken as a boy. infact, i dont think u get mistaken at all.

I agree with you. I love the idea of a Mohawk, but it's not an easy thing to grow out, and for girls it's harder! Guys can just shave their heads. This is not always a good look for a girl!

I think it's awesome when a chick can come out and step into her own. Don't care what others think. As long as you think you are cool then you are cool. I shaved my head when I was in college (3 years ago), soon after it grew back, I was having some crazy *** hair styles. I didn't care. Have faith in yourself. GO GET THE MOHAWK>

Yes, Mohawks make girls look like guys (DORKY guys). And any hairstyle with a name isn't "individual", it's fashion.
If you're unsure, don't do it. Within 48 hours you'll be browsing for a hat or wig. Extreme isn't necessarily cool; it's often desperate.
If, after having thought it out extensively, it's what you (YOU) really want, go for it.

I think is cute, it happen that one of my client ask me to cut her hair in Mohawks and it suit her very well. I even put red highlight at the end. You still can do without shaving the two sides, just make it short. If you like it go for it!!!!!!!!!!

I think mohawks are fantastic, whether you're a guy or a girl. I appreciate that someone is so comfortable with their individuality that they are willing to let their freak flag fly.

Chicks with mohawks? Thats kinda scary. I just go with regular hair, maybe I could get it darker, and wear a red school girl plaid short skirt and a pitch black shirt.

I think it's cute on a chick as long as she has her other features are girly. If your flat chested and already kinda look like a dude don't do it. But if you got a body like a coke bottle go for it.
