I guarantee if Lee Brown was taking away public cigar smoking and half of Houston's tourist attractions there would be a great taking up of arms like you wouldn't believe! So whats the difference?

No but not the best either. Bill white comes from Oil. There is too much crime in this City. Public Smoking is a touchy subject because either way you go rights are in question.

I think he's done a lot of good, but made some bad decisions also. No one's perfect. Except, I agree with William, Lee Brown comes in as "best" absentee mayor.

From the moment he decided to come up with that law about
towing vehicles off the freeway to reduce traffic, I thought he
was the worst. Hello mister White there is still traffic!!!! Stupid
no smoking laws, and oh yeah lets put cameras up peoples butts too so it can stop crime. Yo mister White Crime is still

as Mr. White doesnt try to put any gun control laws, cause if
he does the whole city will be against him. Besides when does he leave office. I cant wait.

He is far from the worst.
Brown can be considered the worst. The man spent more time 'brown' nosing others than acting as mayor. Also who the hell did he think he was with that picture in front of IAH.

Bill White is the bravest, hardest working, most capable mayor we have ever had. I'm thrilled I don't have to be around smoke pits in the workplace anymore. I'm grateful I don't have to smell smoke in restaurants. I'm thankful we have a mayor who will try any reasonable way to make this city better. His message to junk car drivers was clear: get that heap off the road pronto or we will do it for you. He has been instrumental in revamping downtown Houston, and Metro's rail line is still in its infancy. Did you think he was going to fix everything overnight? These things take time. Of course, things would go a lot faster if you'd lend a hand.

I still think that Lee "Out of Town" Brown was our worst mayor. From the billboard with his face on it at the airport to never being here to sending us into the financial hole to build that stupid light rail, Lee.P.Brown. was a disaster.
