NO, no cockroaches, but for some odd reason there's beetles in my house...

I don't have them any more. I installed one of those misting systems around the perimeter of my house, where I automatically spray a fine mist of an extract from chrysanthemum flowers for 30 seconds about 4 times each day. The roaches, mosquitoes, flies, gnats, spiders, and others are all gone. It's great to have my yard back.
I did it myself because the pros all wanted several thousands more than the equipment cost alone. It only took about four hours to install, and it was so simple a child could do it. I actually had my eight year old duaghter help dad with the installation, and I didn't have to pay her $1,000 an hour to do it.

No cockroaches. We have mice. And our cats, despite any instinct, love 'em. One of these days I'm confident I'm going to come home and find them all on the sofa watching Sports Center.

No way I'm faithful to my exterminator. Where I live the roaches get to be between 1-2 inches long and can fly. They freak me out. My husband says I have a very distinctive bug scream.

Thankfully we don't get anything in our house and I would hate it if we did.Occasionally we'll get a moth and they scare me to death so I don't know how I'd cope with cockroaches.
I've experienced them on holidays and it doesn't seem to bother me much,probably because it's only for a short time and it's to be expected in some countries,but at home all the time I couldn't cope.

Nope. Not a single one in the 7 years I've been here.
I think it has something to do with having chickens as pets.
