This is kinda hard - there are too many favorites
I really really enjoy Lufia II, but i might consider Illusion of Gaia my favorite. Both Final Fantasy IV and Phantasy Star IV also contest for top position.

2. Age of Empires III (Computer)
3. Super Mario bros. 3 (NES)
4. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii)
5. Super Smash Bros. Melee (Gamecube)
6. Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1 (Xbox)
7. Star Wars Battlefront II (Xbox)
8. Excite Bike or 64 version or Excite Truck (NES, N64, Wii)
9. Battlefield 1942 (Computer)
10. Super Mario 64 (N64)
11. Banjo Kazooie or Banjo Tooie (N64)
12. Guitar Hero II (PS2)
13. Madden 06 (Xbox)
14. NFL Street (Xbox)
15. The Sims Bustin' Out (Xbox)

There are too many to list but any Final Fantasy games are my favorites, and I also love any Mario games (especially the Mario Party series)!

The Legend of Zelda series is the BEST. Ocarina of Time, A Link to the Past, and Twilight Princess are my favorites. I also love a lot of the Final Fantasy games too.

For genres, my favorite would be RPG's, favorite game series of all time, Final Fantasy hands down, FF7 best game EVER. Legend of Zelda is my next favorite.
Gears of war and Halo are also good ones.

I think my favorite game would have to be Heroes II of Might and Magic, but the Legacy of Kain series, Diablo II, and Champions of Norrath are close seconds.

Probably Kingdom Hearts, great game, interesting and unique story, fun to play with a great mix of Disney and Final Fantasy characters...pretty sweet

Me i love the metal gear series because of the good storylines and the hard and unique boss battles and pokemon, final fantasy, legend of zelda and the grand theft auto series
