Did the country's parliamentary democracy last until WWII?

Well, I mainly want to know what type of government they had during WWII.

Yes, The Netherlands had a parliamentary democracy until WWII. During that war they were occupied by the Nazis, so had no government as such, but did as they were told.

well, it is more or less is a federal parliamentary constitutional kingdom.
The government in exile (the queen and some cabinets fled to London) had no parliamentary control, so it factually was a kingdom at the time.
The german government of the Netherlands kept the existing structures in place. The highest officials (civil servants) became more or less ministers. Above them, there were 5 german Generalkommissare.
It basically became an olichargy....no real parliamentary control, no elections.
