Hundreds. Many catfish such as plecos, and fish like the Chinese algae eater are common examples, but some cichlids (especially Malawis) and species such as the American Flagfish also eat algae.

There are thousands of fish that will eat or graze on algae in a tank. Of the fish commonly called algae eaters there are still hundreds to choose from.

Most fish will eat alge its there greens, like potatoes to us. the most common alge eaters are shrimp, SAE, or otos. I would recommed the shrimp. Other typres are plecos and alge eaters that don't really eat alge. Mollies are another choice, they love vegies.Snails are also.

Many, many, many. With pleco alone there are hundreds of species. Much less the rest.
