He looks fine but i just want to know how often i must change his water, to make sure he stays healty.

If it's a small unfiltered bowl of under a gallon or so in size, you will need to change 100% of the water every 2-3 days to keep your beta in good condition. Less than this will lead to build ups in ammonia and changes tot he pH that could really harm your betta and will contribute to significant disease problems.

Once every week would be good. If you really dont want to every two weeks would be fine but he might get a little slow.

20% a week should be fine,

fishbowl: twice a week
5 gallon tank: once a week
10 & 20 gallon: once a month
50 gallon: twice every six monhs
100 gallons & up: once a year
