Quality of life is increasingly the concern among aging adults. People want to be independent. But then I've seen very sick people who needed to die want to live.

I think what's important is the impact you make on those around you.

I don't want to live a long life, either. I just can't see myself living up to 60 or over...not even 40. I know I won't be responsible for myself.

It's not important by the breathes you measure in life, but how many times it was taken away. You can live a good but short life, and so you die happily.

Survival is one of our in-built sytems and for you to suggest that you wish to forgo the option of long life concerns me.

It is true we are here to reproduce and teach our young the ways of the world plus some so they in turn may make a better world for their young. But the enjoyment of life, at all stages, is to be a happy experience and I would like you too to enjoy in that.

A long and happy life should be your target and if it isn't then look at options that may give you goals for the rest of your life so you may gain the benefits of it throughout.

others want to go farther and at least leave the womb, but only for a few days, hours, or even minutes
some are willing to be here for a few years, others a few decades, and the rarest want to live to be a hundred or more
