Your eating a nice hot meal for dinner and your so happy you eat and you waste some throw it out.
I feel bad because im wasting food which starving children would die for !!
Do you feel bad about yourself when your laying in your nice warm comfy bed at night and you just cant find the right position !! and your tossing and turning all night. You wake up and get some nice brewing coffee and ... so on .
I feel bad for the less fortunate and i keep thinking in ways that really are suprising and i never really thought of it like that .I know we are so lucky to have those things like hot meals and beds but i know we cant stop living our lives. But how come some people just will not help out their community and the starving familes in africa who ard dying rapidly from all the diseases.
I want to make a diference im 12 what ways can i help ??
Is it possible if we all helped could we change the world ??

"No I don't feel bad for having my food, bed, house. I've worked my butt off for over 15 years for what I have. "
I never thought of it that way.

I feel the same way alot of the time. What you could do, is go to a homeless shelter, and help feed the hungry. I have done this before, and it really makes you feel good. Knowing that there isnt always a lot of time to do this, you could always give away clothes that dont fit, or you dont like. Another thing that you can do that wont only make you feel better, but will help you clean up to, isd go through drawers, and closets, and if you havent used something for more than a year, and you dont need it, give that away, or sell it and give the prophets to a local homeless shelter. I hope these ideas will make you feel better, and not so guilty.

Not really. There really is enough food to go around, though with the population explosion that might not be true much longer.
I do feel bad for people who can't afford food and clothing. Once in a while, I help out making lunches for the homeless. Unfortunately, there are religious and political reasons why people are as poor as they are.
Religion makes people want to have more and more babies, even to the point of forcing others to carry theirs to term. Politics and religion keep those same people uneducated and screws up distribution of food.

That old tale of the starving children in China or wherever has created more fat Americans than anything else. Sure we would like to help the world but it has proven impossible. Every time we try to send huge amounts of aid to other countries the rulers of those countries just get richer and more powerful from taking over the aid. Terrible situation but not solvable by us.

The families are starving in Africa because the corrupt government keeps over half of the aid that is sent over there to help them. Until they overthrow their corrupt government and police, nothing will change.

That's why I make sure to save what I don't eat as leftovers and eat them the next day, or I'll take save some food out for a relative or friend so it doesn't go to waste. I hate it when people waste food, because there ARE a lot of hungry people out there. That's why I count my blessings and pray for the children and people out there who are struggling day to day.

see most people do it, but at least you recognize how lucky you really are. One time one of my cousins visited africa and an aid truck full of rice bags was driving by and stopped. People rushed to the truck and cleaned it out empty. There were small grains of rice under the truck and around it, young kids started picking the grains one by one trying to find any grains left over and desperately started eating them. Its mainly because their governments are far too greedy and don't give s*** about thier people.

Yes if we all tried we could help to change the poverty in the world. Thank you, you made my day. Hearing someone so young be so compassionate to others needs is truly awsome. I hope that life doesn't change the way you view yourself and others. Have a wonderful life, and although you sometimes feel helpless prayer does make a difference to someone somewhere.

I feel bad when I hear that people are feeding starving children. Death by disease and starvation is the only way to save the planet from overpopulation. Send 'em condoms - not food.

Glad to help.
