Atheists have hope, the difference is we don't sit around praying about it and instead actually do something productive. I hope for a better tomorrow. I hope the sun will rise again tomorrow morning. I hope I will rise again tomorrow morning. I hope humans learn to live in peace. I hope that education will be a right for all someday. I hope that there will be a day where nobody goes to bed hungry or thirsty. I hope one day everybody will have a bed. I hope someone finds the cure for cancer. I hope I will win the lottery. I hope that healthcare will be a right for all one day. I hope for all these things and more and I hope one day religion will only be taught in history classes. I also hope I am wrong, I hope there is an afterlife but all I do know is that this is all there is and that there isn't so I have to do everything I want to now.

No, you cannot...hope is important...and you dont even realize how important until the day you´ve lost it, but the great thing about hope is that even after you´ve lost it, you can regain it...you just have to keep thinking positively...and holding on to your dreams really tight....
