another way is to rewrite is as a multiplication.

2.01 / 0.123 = (201/100) / (123/1000) =
rewrite as multiplication
(201/100) * (1000/123)

you make the decimal number into fraction...

example:

0.200 = 200/1000

0.200 divided by 2

solution:
0.200/2 = 0.100

ex: 2.31/.07
it is easier to divide by hole numbers, so multiply by 100/100
(which equals 1) to get 231/7 = 33

ex: 5.87/1.298
mulitply by 1000/1000
5870/1298=4.52234
