Looking for information about the murder of a girl at boarding school in Ct that may have occured in the 70's.

Someone has told me this story twice. Supposedly her name was Beth and her father was a probate judge. The story goes that the murder involved a gruesome slaying in her bed. Has this murder ever been solved and did it occur?

it has never been solved. and yes it did occur.
some guy came and killed her, chopped her to pices and spread her in her front lawn or something.
