"Fire On High" by The Electric Light Orchestra

From the LP or CD "Face The Music"
although there is a very eerie Gospel like chorus in the background, but primarily Instrumental with the exception of the backward messages at the beginning.

It was even used in the Olympics and as a theme intro to ABC's Wide World of Sports.....Great energetic song!

There are some great "Post-Rock" bands that don't employ singing in their music. Their influences are rock, jazz and classical. Some truly unique music.

Godspeed! You Black Emperor
Tortoise
Trans Am
Explosions in the Sky (You might have heard them doing the music for the Friday Night Lights movie or theme song to the show)
