Darn good question! Some thoughts are urbanization, overuse of pesticides, disease or mite problems in the bees themselves, too much inbreeding over the centuries, and the latest is cell phones........the electromagnetic pulses from the cell phones interefere with the bees' navigation and they fail to return to the hive.

There's also a marked decrease in natural pollinators which is very scary indeed. Without insect pollinators we can kiss goodby to fruits, vegetables, alfalfa which feeds livestock, and nuts.

We'd be one step towards concord if everybody followed atheism agnosticism or a few variety of secularism. Religion is the principal change amongst men and women that men and women discover major sufficient to kill for. Wars could be slimmed down dramatically with out faith and the ones "honey bees and a summers breeze" could honestly be a fact.
