I Think allot of the bathin suits these days show 2 much . you get what makes you conferable. there is something wrong with the us any way ppl are teaching our Young the wrong way. showing 2 much skin attracts the wrong ppl and gives men the wrong ideas. ppl can say what they want but when it comes down 2 it some things should be left for our men at home to see only.
good luck

Hey Corey,
Do not believe everything your read. As a custom swimsuit designer I can assure you that nearly every woman I have fitted has some "defect" that she wants to hide. Pretty difficult in a bikini I assure you.
My advice is always the same: Whatever you wear, must be holistically pleasing to the eye at 10 yards. The beholder forms their opinion within two seconds. By the time you have gotten with three feet they have not seen your "defect".
Unlike photography where one can study for hours and find the defects, the casual Beholder of your form sees you holistically and will not see what you have spent months looking in the mirror finding your faults.
If you think you have a big butt or wide hips DO NOT WEAR THE LOW CUT CLOTHING OR SWIM WEAR.
Hide this with high cut, high hip swim wear. To see what I am talking about visit http://www.xen.co.za

It depends on your body type, weight, and what you are comfortable in. If you don't feel comfortable in a two piece bathing suit than get what you think you should wear not what an article or other people think you should.

I would wear a cover up to the beach, cause you would have a chance of not getting sun cancer when you're older. One pieces are fine too as long as you feel comfortable why should it matter.

Well, I say find a hip, styling, one peice suit.
But if not, go for a 2-peice with the top that goes down to your belly-button.
Hope I helped!!!!!!!

Heck no one pieces aren't unattractive. Have you seen some of the adorable one pieces they are making these past few years? If you are self-conscious of your hips, don't wear anything low cut like boyshorts, they will just make your hips look wider. A higher cut bottom makes your legs look longer and hips look leaner. Depending on your own personal comfot level, you might consider a monokini (tres chic) lol

With a cute smocked dress cover up that is loose and flows away from the body:

Or if you want a more traditional one piece things like these ones are cute:

Cover it up with a cute swim skirt or sarong and it gived the look a island paradise look:

If you decide that you are going with a bikini, just remember the higher cut legs on the bottoms, and just throw on a cute skirt or sarong to disguise your hips area. Top with fab sunglasses and rock the beach/pool girl! Good luck!

It would be disappointing if you're attractive, but advisable if you're fat. Well, that's a part of me saying that.
In all honestly, though, I generally believe in modesty.
