Well, i dont think he has done enough. Pacman Jones should be expelled from the League, Permanently. The fact that Goodell suspends him for it was 10 games i think and now theyre talking about Oh well, its ACTUALLY going to be more like 4 or 5 games is a freegin Joke! Since when does the Players association and The Players Agent have ANYTHING to do with the punishments the NFL deals out... this is NOT MLB, whose union dominates its owners. Jones should be gone forever, The Idiot Lineman in Chicago with the armory of guns should be gone a year and anyone else with those sorts of things floating over them should be dealt with with the same level of aggresiveness. That is the only way to show the idiots in the league not to do these things, show them that you will take their money away, simple...then i bet yould start to see alot less of the madness that goes on off the field with these players.

He's doing a good job so far. This was long overdue.
These bad actor players need to learn that just because you can run, throw, catch, block, and tackle doesn't give you immunity from being a good citizen. The NFL does not owe any person a living. These guys are public figures and an embarrassment to themselves, their teammates, their team, their cities, and the league. Many, if not most, employers would fire a person who caused as much mayhem as someone like Pacman Jones.
In most leagues the players association and owners would force him to back down for their own short term interests. However, the NFL has a history of putting the league before the individual owners or the players. Heck, the player's association was the one who brought this to the commissioner because they were tired of being guilty by association with these guys.

Lieutenant Goodell is making the wrong moves. NFL players are young, and rich (just enjoying life). A big turnaround from being broke for three years while being celebrities in the college arena. NFL players work the hardest, get paid the least, and have the worst collective bargaining agreement in all of major sports. Football players already get the short end of the stick. Pretty soon, he's gonna suspend all of the bad boys, which account for about 10-20% of the game, and people will stop watching. I say, if they don't miss work, it shouldn't matter. As long as it's not a felony, it shouldn't matter. It's the NFL, not the military.

He is making the moves that should have been done a long time ago! The idea of bringing in veterans that have played the game well and stayed out of trouble to assist him in the decision making process is an oustanding move. I do not believe he needs to be tougher at this point, he is making it known...................you mess up and I will getcha where it hurts.....your wallet and playing time.

If there is anything I could question about Goddell's judgment, it's the fact that he's married to that Fox Noise gal who did the "top cock" blooper. As far as running the NFL, he's doing a great job so far in trying to keep the players in line - especially in Cincinnati.

He did suspend Pacman Jones for 10 games to a year and Chris Henry for 8 games so he's being pretty heard the way it is.

GOODELL IS MAKING THE RIGHT MOVES
IT'S ABOUT TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
MOST OF HIS UNDESIRABLES WOULD SAY
"NO"
(HE'S FLEXING HIS ROOKIE COMISH MUSCLES)
(HE'S TO TOUGH ON US)
WHATEVER!!!!!!!!!!
THIS IS A PRO SPORT
THIS IS A BUISNESS
PLAYING IN THIS LEAGUE IS A LUXURY,NOT A RIGHT !!!!!!!!!!
ON AVERAGE WHAT IS AN AMERICANS GROSS ANNUAL SALARY? (40-50 GRAND) MAYBE
I PREDICT A REAL DOSE OF REALITY IS WHAT SOME OF THESE PARIAHS NEED.
IN ONE SEASON I BELIEVE THE BASE NFL SALARY IS 10 TIMES THAT (500 THOUSAND ISN'T IT)
ANYWAYS
ALL PEOPLE WHOM WORK IN OR AROUND THE NFL ARE TO PROJECT AN IMAGE (FOR THE BUISNESS, THE SPORT,THE GAME)
FROM THE VENDOR IN THE STANDS TO THE TOWEL BOY ON THE FEILD ,TO THE SUPER STARS
THIS IMAGE SHOULD PORTRAY MORALS, RESPECT,AND PROFFESSIONALISM!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IF THE PLAYERS CAN'T ABIDE BY THIS CODE OF CONDUCT
GET RID OF THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!
SEND THEM BACK DOWN TO REALITY
GIVE 'EM A GOOD DOSE OF IT
WHERE THEY CAN DROP INTO OUR WAGE (PAY SCALE)
AND SEE HOW HARD THE REAL WORLD IS !!!!!!!!
RELEARN HOW TO RESPECT THE FAN AND THE AVERAGE JOE/JANE WHO PAYS THEIR HYPED ,HOPPED UP WAGES!!!!!!!!
I AND MANY OTHERS AM SO SICK OF HAVINGTO READ ABOUT ALL THEIR THUGGED UP CHILD LIKE, PUNK ANTICS THEY PULL DAY IN AND DAY OUT (LATELY)
SHAPE UP OR SHIP OUT!!!!!!!!!!!

i dont think he is being tough enough. he needs to say you guys have heard the rules for years. you make a lot of money. these gms are investing a lot of money in you so dont screw up. if you do, tough you are out of the league. no second chances. you have an image to protect and i wont tolerate knucklehead behavior. so he needs to be stiffer and say you break the rules you forfeit your salary and your career.

Adolph Goodell is doing good things for the NFL. Too bad he isn't doing to all the bad seeds (ie Leonard Little) Two time DWI. One time vehicular homicide.................
I know this is a few years back. And it was under the watch of Tagliabu. But still.........
