The water going coloudy is because it ahs just been set up or it could be dirt from the gravel..did you wash the gravel and to power air pump toy things you need a gang valve : http://www.thereefshop.com.au/images/elite%203%20way%20valve.jpg you cut a small pice of air tubing 5cm long put it onto the gangvalvle i sent u a pic and then you get 2,3,4 diffrent outputs you can get them diffrent sizes or you can by air pumps with diffrent outputs

If there are no fish in the tank and everything is new the cloudiness is tiny bubbles caused by gas exchange in the water that w1ll settle out before long at all. Be sure you use a water conditioner that handles both chlorine and chloramines and that the water you add to a tank in the future is very similar in temperature to the water already in the tank. Both are important to the health of the fish and will help prevent the bubbles.

You can buy extra air line and what is commonly called a gang valve for your air driven items in the tank. Any decent pet shop will have a variety of them available. It will allow you to use one pump for several items.

Most likely a bacterial bloom is what you're experiencing. =) Don't worry. Just relax and let the cycling take place.

You do need air pumps to attach to the airlines, if I'm understanding you correctly.
