The legality of such action depends upon your cities ordinances. I suggest checking with your local government. As a practical matter, one might determine how much room in the yard is going to be used. You also want to avoid digging into water and sewer lines. I imagine the hole is going to be large for a typical urban backyard.

Yes it is. It is alot of work though :-P I had to bury a cow once by hand. Not a fun job.

i doubt it but if u don't get caught , no one will know. Just make sure u bury him better than 6 ft. deep sp the coyotes and cats don't smell him and start digging him up.

what else are you suppose to do with a dead horse? i would burry it or drag it off some where that you cant see or smell it saves lots of diging. just tie a rope or chain around it hook it up to the truck and take off .save your energy for something funner

I suppose if you have a back hoe and live on a large farm, otherwise that'll be a lot of digging

Yes maaam it is, in fact you have to bury it upside down, so if it wakes up it can wiggle its toes to signal all the ranch hands to dig him up agin....yeeehaaww.
