I think a better question along those lines is why haven't all the planets and dust and gas that are existing out there occluded all radiation from what is beyond that layer outward from us? The sky should appear as an opaque dense mass that is infinitely thick from our perspective!

it is a probability , but in reality no body knows but de observational data is not supporting it.
