advantage of the anonymity to be more rude and uncaring than you would in a face to face conversation?

I'm as respectful as the questioners question warrants, like the person saying the terrorists are registered voters and voting for democrats, where does this kind of stuff come from? Most of my answers are on the sarcastic side but nothing I say isn't able to be proved, after over fifty years of watching my government in action, words don't impress me much, show me. Same with people on here, most of the people ranting about liberals are so far-fetched with their accusations it's actually silly some of the statements, I see no purpose in asking if you think President Bush is a great President, or greatest of all time, give me a break already and lighten up on the god thing too.

The thing is very few people here are really asking questions for the sake of discussion instead they are looking for a validation of their opinions. I actually think that YA is doomed to fail because of that. A forum would be better because then those on either end of the political spectrum could have a section where they hang out and make each other feel better. Then those of us who want a true discussion with a free flow of ideas could have a discussion as well

Most of the people here are as phony as a three dollar bill. Look at the questions they ask or the comments they make. I have followed "Kim" for example and her questions are always inflammatory and right-wing designed for no other purpose but to get people annoyed. Further even in answering a question like this one she lies. And that is true for a lot of people here..

As middle of the road person (who admittedly votes Democratic 99% of the time. I did vote for Bloomberg in NYC Great Man) I have to say that it seems the really insulting questions come from the right

But this is part of the Lee Atwater school of Republicanism where they do not talk issues but "character"

It really depends to be honest with you. I think in a face to face conversation with someone I'd probably get a little more heated actually, because it's in your face ya know?

There no doubts I have strong opinions, and sometimes I'll be honest like anyone else emotions get the best of me... but I wouldn't say I'm ignorant like several people I have encountered on here.

I also wouldn't say I'm rude and uncaring...but some of the questions these guys ask you can't help but to be sarcastic.

There are a few immature people who like to bash through their keyboards, but most of the strong opinions on this forum are paid for. People take advantage of the anonymity to hide their identities as paid shills for the Republican Party.

When peoples politics and religious philosophy allowed human sacrifices to the Gods for a bountiful crop and to vanquish enemies and keep volcanoes from erupting everyone new they where wrong .
When Christians and Judaism practiced slavery and at one time stoned people to death for adultery and homosexuality and failing to keep the sabbath holy by working as written in the bible everyone new they where wrong .
Political and religious regimes have plagued mankind for thousands of years .
If it where not for the terrorists belief's that their death and that of their enemy would guarantee a direct path into heaven because thats whats in their Koran I would have no problem with people practicing delusional rituals as do Christians and those who practice Judaism or any faith based religion and political philosophy .

Since we know for certain that the bible is a collection of stories meant to keep people under the control of the rich you have to ask yourself why anyone could follow such belief's in the first place and that leads us to examine the education provided by parents and schools .

If we continued to reinforce and teach children that "faith "-(Belief that does not rest on logical proof or material evidence ) is the standard on which to base all our conduct and lives then I must protest loudly .

Why anyone raised Catholic would choose to follow John Knox , Joseph Smith , Martin Luther , Samuel Seabury ,or Henry the 8th and dozens of other protestant religions and vice a verse a is beyond me . As far as Judaism goes -the old testament speaks of the Lord supporting wars and the death of all the males and women that where not virgins and that the children and virgins where to be part of the spoils of war and divided among the religious leaders rulers generals and on down the line . With the soldiers recieving only grain and some silver after those at the top had taken what they wanted . That non virgins who wed could be stoned to death that working on the sabbath also meant stoning to death as well as adultery homosexuality and several other offenses against God .

Since people want to hold religion and its teachings up as the values our nation should follow and the basis of our laws and political belief's I find much fault with these obviously delusional people of faith .

There is absolutely no reason for me to accept anything they say since it is all based in faith and delusions .

SO once I explain how they are nuts and everything they belief is nuts and begin to explain that we have the opportunity to create a better society if we can keep the religious people out of politics and those people who profess to be nuts Such as Bush And Clinton And Bush And Reagan And Carter And Ford Well lets Just say we have not had a leader who is not as delusional as the Shaw of Iran .

If you pray you scare me . Rational thought and a plan in the event of any problem is 1000 times more important then a prayer .

If a priest was praying over your Child for Jesus to spare and heal him and he had a compound fracture with lots of bleeding I think I would push that loon out of the way place a tourniquet above the compound fracture and get Him /her to a hospital as quickly as possible .
Since we all know that prayer will never fix the problem why would you think it cures cancer .
This is how deep the programing of your youth and the constant reinforcement of that teaching leads you to make many bad decisions .
So I will never lighten up on people who support Bush And am Just as Hard on Clinton Supporters .

The truth is until we begin listening to people who have a better plan that is inclusive of all people we will always have what we do now . Crimes wars and unhappy people who's lives are ruined because expectations based on delusions did not meet with reality . Monogamy is insane and we need to see this as the breeding ground for religion and delusional lifetime behavior that sets up a I am better then you class system .

SO no I do not pull any punches and tell it like it is and many people can not accept reality . and thats their problem .
Not living in reality and expecting that others should do as they do and building a political system based on this which brings pain misery and death to millions of people is not acceptable to me in the so called enlightened age . .

If you would like specific answers to any questions feel free to E mail me .

I try to be respectful but, quite honestly, some of the questions deserve a rude answer.

Well..... sometimes very stupid, flame bating, inflammatory, biased, bigoted, full of hate and vitriol, poorly worded, misspelled, bad grammar, incoherent, TinFoilHat questions by Trolls et al can be *very* frustrating to answer without going ballistic.
But one needs to show restraint lest the violation thought police report you to YA!

I will usually be respectful, but I do get sarcastic with those who ask rude questions that serve no purpose but to bash.

I just drift here and there looking for ten extra points. If people are hurt by that, fine with me.
