where to start
when my sister was little she would always say hail mary full of grapes I never corrected her thought it was cute.
My eldest son used to say he had a pain in his forest instead of his forehead again I thought it was cute never bothered to correct him until he came home from school red faced after saying it in the classroom at about the age of seven took him a while to forgive me for that.
as for the funny things kids say we have a watch machine (washing machine) bouncy house(trampoline) d cups (drinks) fuds(spuds) I could go on but I'll save you kids say the funniest things don't they.

my brother used to say 'pusketti' rather than 'spaghetti'. he just couldn't get the 's' and 'p' sounds the right way round.
my dad, apparently, used to think he was going to get a present when some said about doing something 'presently'.
and i used to call squirrels 'squeals' - i just couldn't say squirrels!

for some weird reason i thought chimney was pronounced chimley and even though it wasn't spelt that way in books. i thought it was a typo!
