If I found out that you had lied to me, I would feel very disappointed with you. We would need to discuss and hopefully you could explain why you did that which you did. I am sure the relationship would continue, but I would no doubt be a little more suspecting. It would take some time to rebuild my confidence in you as a friend. The more serious the lie, the longer the repair time would be needed.

Confront you with your lies, and make you explain why you felt it was so necessary to abuse my trust. Hopefully, we would both agree to be more honest and direct as we rebuild our relationship into something strong and supportive.

Failing that, drop a toaster into your pool.

shake my head and move on,nothing anyone can do about being lied to,too many people do it you just learn from it and skeedaddle (OMG I SAID SKEEDADDLE!!! why oh why do I hange out with family on holidays)
