hi, i have this bag with white leather handles and straps. However, due to constant exposure to moisture and brushing to clean off the stains, the leather has began to peel. Anyone has any idea how to go about salvaging that?

A leather specialist may be able to fix this for you, there are some technicians who specialise in restoring handbags.

Call LTT who will have this information

First scrub the bag using diluted household bleach. This kills any fungus.

Do not wet it through as it will go hard.

Using a carpet knife scrape cut any flakes. Iron with a hot iron in one direction only, and be careful not to let the iron stick to the other white surface. Use none wax paper as an interface if you have.

Purchase any colorant used for leather from you local art shop. they have white as well. Apply two coats as instructed.

Be patient and all will work out well.

I'm sorry to say this but it's dead. Brushing may have made it die faster. Maybe you shuold have used a leather cleaner on it. Try to find a replacement. That's weird cause real leather doesn't crack or peel. Maybe you will find a better hand bag.
