I have received several, most from the same person - my mother-in-law. Sadly, she gets very put out if I do not display these gifts prominently.
It got even more bizarre when she gave me one hideous little statuette saying "this isn't really my style, but I just knew you'd love it" (which said to me, "I don't like it, but I'll make you suffer with it"). It doesn't fit in with my decor or my personality and I cannot even fathom why she would think of me when she bought it.
My husband has spoken to her about these items, but she continues to send them anyway.

Yes, But only to myself. I was given a toy poker machine/Slot/ one arm bandit. You didn't have to put anything in it or get a payout. You just pressed the button, it span and came up with a random result. I never used it.

yes I've ask for a doll I thought it would be a porcelain doll she bought a doll for little girl and it wasn't barbie.
