I see adult men with shaved pubic hair (non-surgical individuals). I do not understand why men do this or how frequent a practice this is. Can you educate me about this??

Personally, I don't like it. I like a trim. Still some hair, not all gone but not long. Shaving reminds me of like a dog who got his hair all shaved off and now his skin is showing. Really weird to me, lol. But really depends on the person. Some like it, some don't. It might be for looks or for hygiene reasons.

It looks weird and perverted, like you're trying to be ten years old again. It itches like a thousand mosquito bites. It encourages the growth of fungus and can also lead to serious bacterial infections. But some porn stars made it fashionable in the 1990s, and now porn-obsessed boys do it to look like their heroes. Fortunately almost all guys get more sensible by their late teens and stop doing it. Ugh. I'd rather see a guy with blue hair any day than one who has to keep scratching his privates.

though I don't understand it,I guess it's a personal preference.It seems more common here lately,but shaving pubic hair is not actually a new thing.

they do it because it might bother them or irritate there package. But hair is supposed to be a protection. Did u know if u had hair sleep with some one who had warts u wouldnt get it because hair would be in the way. It wouldnt be skin to skin contact

I use a clipper on top and shave my balls my girl friend loves it as i like a girl with a clippered bush as it isn't nice flosing when you go down

Men and women do this to increase sex appeal. The only thing if you shave "down there," you will need to apply powder, or you will be sticking to yourself. Very uncomfy!

My first question... what are you doing that you're seeing lots of guy's junk anyway? And second, its more often seen among porn stars than regular guys. But some guys do it. I don't have any numbers but I can't imagine it'd be real common.

Guys do it so it looks "clean cut" down there. It also helps to make your manhood look bigger to the ladies or men (whatever you're into) because all the hair is trimmed down so all you see is the package and no camoflauge. =)

What kind of men are you around? As an anesthesiologist I see plenty of people undressed and I don't ever remember seeing a guy who does that. Sounds sort of gay to me.

it very good idea? i dont agree with other answerers that this is uncommon. every reasonable religion instructed to shave the pubic hairs and all muslims do that mustly. it increases the sexual power. i am feeling that wh y ouy are carrying these hairs till now, very stupid. shave them immediatley.
