Colours:- White for purity, red for the blood of Jesus, blue for Mary, gold for JC the King. Don't use them all just choose one or two.
Symbols:- a cross or a crown would be good for your school. If you have a large cross (like the cross of St George) you then have four 'fields' to put symbols for yourself, say one for where you were born, two for your interests, one for what you want to be.

Seems teaching basic English Grammer is way down on the priority list of the school.
My suggestions would be a white dunces cap on a red background with the words:
"Saint Stupids" Spelling Team for a Motto or
"All sports-jocks are dumb".
