I am single and I am a working individual, but it appears I am not going to get married, but I want to adopt a child, how do go about doing it?

I would seek an adoption agency and talk to them. If you don't like them, try another. I have four adopted children. Adopting children when you are single has become more difficult, but not impossible. My wife and I did all foreign adoptions. Examine your feelings about this and a number of other factors. A good adoption agency will give you many options and counsel you about what you should think about. Good luck.
