Intel's Core 2 Duos are the fastest dual-core processors on the market, followed by the AMD X2 processors. Pentium-D is the slowpoke of the bunch, coming in 3rd place.

intel core 2 is faster, but you should not only depend on the processor .. its useless if a pc processor is core 2 and his ram is 126mb or videocard is hust 64mb hehe.

duo by country mile but the new quad core cpu's have replaced the duo
