You need a good water flow for a good shower, I have just replaced my 18 year old Vaillant combi with a condensing model, Vaillant again, in spite of the fact that it was still working perfectly. We have had NO trouble from it in 18 years, only replaced a fan motor and a couple of seals. You do not need a 'Power shower' just a normal thermostatic type designed for use with combi's. Look at Hansgrohe and Mira.

Isn't that putting the cart before the horse?

If you already have a combi-boiler then there are plenty of power showers (integral pump and thermostatic control) which can be bought quite cheaply.

If you are fitting a new boiler or central heating then an extra £150 for a shower won't break the bank will it?

DON'T BUY A COMBI BOILER !

You have to have a condensing boiler
( another goverment / industry confidence trick) but no matter what rip off plumbers say
( yes they are all rip off crooks its part of the CORGI registration)
You don't need a combi boiler
It will only last ten years and in that time you will have leaks and fans breaking down all the time

DON'T BUY A COMBI BOILER!!!
