Could American news repoters be taken hostage by palestinian extremist groups like Hamas, Fatah etc in Golan?
Would the U.S comply to these gruops becuz of the hostage situation and not attack the groups?

The Golan heights are one of the safest places in Israel.

The biggest danger is if you decide to walk into a mine field. In which case you deserve to get hurt for being that stupid.

The Golan Heights are an incorporated part of Israel, and as such do not house Hamas and Fatah.

With the current situation focusing on Gaza and, in a lesser part, on the West Bank, the Golan is a relatively safe area for reporters and tourists alike.

As to how the US would react were American reporters to be held hostage, I don't believe it would give in at all to the terrorists. Not with our current president at the helm, at least.
