Yes! Got a job in London, my house, I had an opportunity to try the job for 18 months before the division became separate. Found house in my price range, and the day after I told my nearest relations they vandalised my house whilst I was at work to stop me moving. Didn't owe them money, never stopped them doing anything in their lives, they hadn't paid a penny towards the house, the move wouldn't take a second of their time/a penny of their money. New home 7 minutes walk away from work, now forced to commute well over 1000 miles a week.

I am totally trapped in the town where I live, I'm not allwoed to be anywhere else as I'm on bail and the conditions state I'm not allowed my passport and I'm not allowed to leave Spain, and I'm not allowed to move without telling them, though how I could move house without a passport ID is beyond me! This wouldn't be so bad if I'd actually done something, but I haven't, the spanish do not grasp that a british person can buy a replacement P60 quite legally as they think its a document only issued by the government and no one else, Hello Spain, Google Replacement P60.....18300 entries!

No, but my teenage kids do as we're in the sticks and it's 3+ miles to the nearest bus stop - then the buses don't run very often. Fine if you can drive and run a car, but not for teenagers wanting independence or the chance to stay in the city beyond 10pm (hence I'm more trapped in my car as the taxi driver for the time being). Why is car insurance so expensive for young people!!

Oh yes, almost every day.
I live in a tiny wee village in the middle of nowhere, it's many miles to the nearest town. I personally don't drive, as it's much too expensive these days to learn, and we simply don't have the spare cash to afford it.
My partner works full time, so even if I could drive, he has the car to get to work and back.
There is a regular bus service, but the bus stop is right on the main road outside the village, the A66 which is one of the busiest and most dangerous roads in our area. It's hell to cross the road to get to the bus stop... but even worse as I have a toddler, who always gets hell bent on playing in traffic when we were waiting for the bus.
and the bus would be late, always, so I'd be holding him while he screams and kicks and cries to be let go. And as I'm currently extreemly heavily pregnant, holding a kicking toddler isn't a safe option, even if I had the energy.
So yes, in effect I'm trapped. I hate it. I'm lucky that we live in such a noce area with so many other kids for him to play with, but sometimes I wish i could actually leave this village myself and see people, instead of asking them to come through and see me :(

Yes.
I have a very happy life but sometimes I feel trapped by all the responsibiliy of kids and job and I think I would just like to run away.
I'd never leave my kids though I miss them even if I have to go away for a few days.
One day they will grow up and I might run off and do something wild!

Yes, I'm trapped here because I'm the main income for the 6 of us and because my job is not portable.
I'm going to start school this fall to have a portable career and I think I might no longer be with my wife then. I will fight for the kids because she has very little income form her part time job.

I would love to be far away on holiday in the Maldives right now. I haven't had a proper holiday for years, but who knows, one day I might win the lottery, and then I can jet off in the sunshine!
