The UN does not, in any way, involve itself with running a lottery, or enforcing any lottery winnings.

Per its charter, the United Nations is devoted to save succeeding generations from the scourge of war, and
to reaffirm faith in fundamental human rights, in the dignity and worth of the human person, in the equal rights of men and women and of nations large and small, and to establish conditions under which justice and respect for the obligations arising from treaties and other sources of international law can be maintained, and to promote social progress and better standards of life in larger freedom.

The United Nations is not sponsoring any lottery because what you receive on the internet that you won is a hoax.

S P A M that's what it is. You don't even waste your time
reading mail which you know is not from people you know.
Mark it spam and it goes to the next one. As simple as that.

I win lotteries everyday, from Africa, UK , Candida, etc.
You can imagine how rich I am with all the money stacked
and made into a chair on which am sitting and answering
your question on Yahoo Q&A

If its crooked, wrong, or corrupt, you can bet the UN has their hand in it.
