Stop for a moment and think about the point I am about to make: agree with him or not, like him or not, Bush flatly comes out and says what he believes. There is no Kerry flip flopping, no testing the poll numbers to see what answer he should give. He is completely forthright. Here is an example:
The Democrats always pander to people's innate laziness and greed. When Bush and Kerry were at the Presidential debates, they had startlingly different responses to the question about how they would work to reduce unemployment.
Kerry put on his best sad, old hound dog face, and shamelessly mugged for the cameras. He talked in cloyingly paternalistic terms about how unemployment was no one's fault, and how the government needed to create some huge new bureaucracy to combat it.
Bush said, unless people continue their education, and acquire skills that are sought by employers, they will always be at risk of losing their job, no matter what the government does. He then reminded people that you get a tax credit for education, and that the U.S. has the unique feature of community colleges all around the nation.
(Right now, I'm thinking, "Darn it, Bush. Why do you have to be so forthright? No one is going to like that response because it reminds people they must ultimately be responsible for themselves and voters are always looking to get something for nothing. Couldn't you have given an answer for mass consumption? You're in the fight of your life, and you're acting like a Boy Scout, always forthright and truthful.)
As you see, Kerry just pandered for votes. Bush told people to get off their lazy a@@ and actually make themselves attractive to employers.
You never have to wonder what Bush really thinks. He tells you.

We could have invaded Mexico for their oil, but that would have opened the doors to millions more Mexicans coming across the border to answer our attack. That would have been stupid.
Besides, Mexican oil is a an inferior grade. So we attacked and invaded Iraq. We threw out and killed their president. And now we have access to all that oil.
Besides, the oil in Iraq is among the best in the world and there are virgin oil fields there that we are just beginning to tap into.
Bush knows all this and uses this information. He got it from the Vice President.
He also has kept the real reason for the war a secret. That takes some doing.
It isn't easy to keep telling the same big lie over and over again. But his staff is excellent at it. Led by the modern day Joseph Goebbels, the genius Karl Rove, they fought like crazy in the last presidential election and got Americans to believe all the wild things they made up about that loser Al Gore. It was an excellent piece of propaganda work.
Can you imagine if he had been elected? We wouldn't have any oil from Iraq, or if we did, we'd be getting it at wholesale prices and not with the substantial margins that we have now under the leadership of Mr. Cheney.
Those of us with stocks or ownership of munitions and defense companies as well as petroleum companies are making a killing, thanks to GWB. We could never have done it without him.
Sure you have to break a few eggs to make an omelet, but that's life. And we are prospering because of GWB. I say God speed Dubya!

I like George W. Bush. I don't always agree with everything he does. But I know What he stands for, before the war started I remember him saying that it wouldn't be quick or easy. Besides there isn't a Democrat that can do as good a job as he is doing. They are to busy flip-flopping, bad mouthing and back stabbing to get anything constructive done.

His invitations to one of his first state dinners sums it up for me, he was asked why he invited his supporters AND his opponents to dinner.
He said he learned to be courteous from his mother, now that is a leader.
He has more conviction than anyone out there, I wish we didnt go into Iraq, should have went into Iran first.
But thru it all he sticks to his principles nomatter what the whole world thinks.
Has morals and a belief in God, share the same views.
View him in the same mold as Churchill, he was not liked all too well untill Hitler did exactly what Churchill said he would do, then he was begged to come lead Britain, he did and saved their asses.
Mark this down, in 6 months or so, Iran will supprot Hezbollah and make a move and attack Israel, we will be glad its Bush in office when this happens.
Mark it down.

I'm not a Bush fan, but I'm not an enemy either. For everything he did wrong, complicity existed. Let us not forget that Congress gave Mr. Bush the green light in October 2002 for "all necessary means" in Iraq. The American public favored the war with almost 80 percent. Now that it opposes the war by almost the same margin, it is Bush's fault. We are kind of like the cartoon charactor who slaps himself on the forehead and says, "Oh ****! You did it just the way I told you too!"

I was never a strong Bush fan but looking at the choice of him or Al Gore I went with him.
What would Gore have done after 9/11?
Iraq was a big mistake. If he keeps the terrorists out of the US, history may forgive him.

He supports most everything I beleive in and has done a pretty good job under the cicumstances. I must say that right now anyone who was in his place, republican or democrat, would be taking a beating. There is far more support for him than the media would have you think. Poles are as phony as cnn and rosie.

I wouldn't know what to do in his place.
I had no idea there were so many crazy religions in the world.
How the Hell could anyone think flying a plane into a building would bring about any kind of religious gratification?
Whatever he does seems to bring criticism FROM HIS OWN PEOPLE!
He sure has his hands full.

I like him because he has the balls not to let terrorists push us around. History has shown us that Democrat Presidents do not go to war. Republican Presidents may not be liked but at least they get the job done! I support him because he is a Conservative and fights for things I believe in.
Everybody has their opinion. That's mine. Oh and I think you'll find alot of people still love and support him. I just love it how the media portrays that Americans are ready to revolt against him....everyone I talk to loves him and would vote for him again (if he could serve three terms).
