Everyone likes a wee bit of salacious gossiping now and then.
If I'm honest though,I only really like good fun gossip.I hate nastiness,you know ,if it could hurt someone etc......and I only ever gossip with my sister and best friend,I know that it won't get carried round other people that way !

I tell my boyfriend everything, as he's the one I want to share with and trust, and yes, if it's funny we have a good giggle, together. But I try to be careful of what info I reveal and to whom. I know that spreading unconfirmed rumours can be very destructive. I'd be lying if I said I didn't listen, but I do question the source, esp if I know that there is malice behind the stories. Depending on whether I know the person or not, I would stick up for them, if a stranger is being discussed I keep quiet.

Not about people, no. This is something I detest in others and shows me much more about THEM than THEY're trying to say about others. I generally like to keep my business to myself because I hate the thought of it becoming currency for gossips. One has to choose very carefully the people one trusts with confidences. Therefore I'd like to think MY friends have chosen wisely when confiding in me.

Everyone does to a certain extent.
I got myself out of a group though that lived and breathed for gossip and it got that bad things got out of hand and they are saying really horrible things about people. I got myself out of that circle very quickly. They are going to end up lonely as everyone will not trust anything that comes out of their mouth

No I dont,and people that do get a buzz out of other peoples misfortune,plus what starts off a small story gets bigger as each gossip adds their own bit to it,if you here a rumour and would like to know the truth ask the person to their face,dont tell someone else and make it bigger...........

not really ! sometimes i listen to my friends gossiping and i never really make any comments as its gossip and there may be no truth in it at all !

No, I don't, but you know that woman at number 12, you know with the eyebrows and no knickers, she's always saying things about people, like she has any need to talk, I don't kow how many times sh'es had her boiler looked at this month but that plumber must be good with his hands...
