Did you find it hard to learn to ride, even with training wheels? What color was it?
Mine was bright pink and I learnt to ride it pretty quickly after I got rid of my tricycle, Dad later attached a Minnie Mouse basket to the front :p

I had a faded pink girls schwinn with the white seat. :-/ It was given to me as a 8 year old boy. I was pretty embaressed, but I learned to ride when no one was around and hid it when there was others around.

My first bike was also pink. It had bright pink, light pink, and white streamers coming from the handlebars. It had a white basket on the front with a pink flower on it.
I had training wheels on this bike, and it took me a little while to learn how to ride it. I remember one time, I fell in the driveway, cut my arm, and got gravel in it. I left my bike for a while, but my mom finally coaxed me back on!

Back in my day, there weren't many options. Just a regular girl's bike. Learned to ride on a gravel road with NO training wheels. Many skinned elbows and knees. Ahhhh the good old days.

My first bike was white with red and black. My sister and I got our bikes about the same time and learned to ride together. Then we crashed into eachother head on coming around a corner of our house. That hurt.

Mine was a Chopper it had a leopard skin seat,the handle bars had streamers hanging from them,it was purple, had 2 gears,I never had stabelisers I just learned on 2 wheels,had plenty of falls mind ......lol

Schwinn surfer bike, blue at age 10. I was already trying
to ride my brothers' bikes with that damn bar.

i had 7 siblings who rode bikes too and we had 2 bikes..one red and one blue. the red one was too big for me so i rode the blue. my bro taught me to ride by pushing me down a hill on the bike, it was ride or die.... lol... we weren't allowed to have training wheels..they were for sissies
