Well I think the problem that most people have with Rosie is because some people feel she doesn't live the life as an heterosexual. People dislike her for that. The media and society use that as amunition to make her look as if she is the big bad wolf, for one point. Second, she is very vocal and outspoken when it come to addressing political issues and everyday life situations. My opinion mostly is that she is only using her right to free speech, exposing the truth, and standing up for what she believes in. The problem with most people in this country is that they hate to hear the truth. I do agree with some of the things she says that proves alot of valid points, but others don't seem to agree with her very well. That's what leads to major controversy and arguments.

after this, people assumed that rosie was implying that she thought american troops were terrorists to the people of iraq, when she supposedly meant that the u.s. adminstration are the terrorists. but of course, she has trouble clarifying herself properly.

She's loud and annoying which are qualities that make it easy to dislike anyone. Unfortunately for her, she's also opinionated, lesbian, fat, and liberal, which in the US right now aren't trendy qualities--I guess that's what's "wrong" with Rosie O'Donell at the moment.
