I'm in college right now - I'm 30 years old, so not the 'typical' student...sacrificing a lot financially, but I really believe it will be worth it when I'm finished. My major is English - emphasis on Technical Writing.

I have an Associates Degree and plan to go back for my Bachelors when I can. Right now it doesnt seem worth it because an Associates Degree is pretty useless. It just means you passed the required courses. But if I get my Bachelors it will be worth it because then I'll have that little piece of paper that says I'm qualified to work in a specific field.

I have attended and graduated with a BFA, continued to attain my Masters degree and am now working on my Doctorate. Yes, it has all been worth it.
I am now a music instructor. I give lessons from my home and make over $30 an hour. It is truly great. Oh, it doesn't hurt that I can afford to live in Honolulu, HI either!

I go to college... But for a different reason! I do Saturday Art School at Bournmouth AI - Animation, specifically. And it's worth it, methinks.
But I'm a little too young to go to college as a STUDENT.

I just finished my fourth year of getting a Mechanical Engineering degree. I have done four years, but still have a year to go because engineering is harder than a lot of other college majors.

University. Yes and it was worth it, although at times I did start to think "wtf have I gotten myself into this time." I am going back next year 2008, for a post graduate degree in English, just for the fun of it. I love being a student.
