North Gloucestershire here and it started raining yesterday afternoon,Saturday, and it is still at it at 9 am on Sunday. I usually walk in the morning and play tennis on Sunday afternoon but that will not happen today. Monday for this area is not looking too bad with cloud but no rain in the morning and a chance of sun in the afternoon. If it is like that then I shall play golf in the morning and relax in the garden later. I do not work now and I really feel sorry for everybody that does as these holidays are something to always look forward to. Soon be the real summer with sunny days at week ends. Today I will do some shopping and read a book or two. I will also fiddle around on the internet.

Not really...smiling at the weather reporters on the telly - every time it's nice over a bank holiday, they give it the 'london-southeast london-southeast london-southeast' mantra, with a rewarding grin at the part of the UK mentioned, but sound like they're delivering a death sentence as they mention inclement weather in Belfast, Glasgow or Liverpool...or even if it's going be just as warm, but a few degrees cooler.
Coventry right now is like a ghost town....bet
most are in Málaga!

The truly British answer is, of course,
"It's better than nothing."
I got to the coast yesterday before the weather turned too bad.
Today I have some model work to do for a toy museum, and a damp five-minute walk at lunchtime will take me to a special flower market event, to finish stocking my garden ready for its charity open day next month.
No, not wildly exciting. But then, I've never been a Jack Sparrow sort of character.

took my girlfriends kids to a falconry centre and they loved driving the go carts in the wind and rain with no coats and they got cold and soaked..cost a fortune but they rated it 10 out of 10. The falconry display was cancelled lol

I have been wanting to take my son to legoland in windsor since he was small but i really need a nice bank holiday to do it in. He's 16 now and we still haven't been. I know we do have an odd few sunny bank holidays but people tend to visit me then! can't win, will get there one year, with my simmer frame or walking stick!
