I'm fine with cats growing up, however my cats is only 6lbs so that might be way, but I would love it had my dogs stayed little forever... yet they're all over 100lbs so I think you can see why...

However new puppy smell is a little weird, nice at first but then everything starts to smell like new puppy.

I wish they would stay puppies and kittens longer because they grow up too fast it seems. I wouldn't want them to stay that way forever though because I want to see what they look like when they grow up.

Actually, I have two dogs. One will be fifteen in September and the other will be nine in December. They both still act like puppies because my husband and I baby them so much. That's not to say that they don't behave because they do but they still like being cuddled and like to play. They're not little either, one is forty-five pounds and the other is fifty-two pounds. I do miss them being little enough to tuck in my jacket though.

no. i enjoy my dogs maturity (shes 11). shes fully trained, I can still have fun with her.. and she is more "street wise" and
communication between the two of us is better compared to when she was a young pup.

the only thing that bothers me is that she is getting older, cant play quite like she used to, is getting sore, and will die within the next few years.
If only she could stay 6 years old forever.

Yes, but I am always glad when they get out of that puppy stage and start to grow up. They can be wonderful, loyal and loving pets as adults

No-babies are fun but adults are better behaved and more intelligent. Please tell me you aren't one of those people that gets a puppy or kitten then when it grows up abandons it or takes it to the shelter because "it's no fun anymore".

I wish the same thing about kids. They grow up to be pimply faced jerks.

NO because then the meat they serve at Jack in the Box would suddenly be a LOT smaller.
