I am 40 and have 2 kids my 15 year old boy has started lounging and walking round nude what should i do?

My fifteen year-old son is sitting not 5 feet from me, playing XBOX-Live with his friends while I use his computer. Just reading this story makes me want to cry.

saying "no" or"dont do that" may not work anymore since he's a teen now. if all else fails ....embarass the clothes back on him...send the other child out wiht mom(or someone) for the day and have a naked fest yourself i'm pretty sure after watchign you clean the house naked he'll be aprpeciative of clothes..no offense to you..but i would never want to see my parents naked especially bent over the washer and dryer

1st of: There's nothing wrong with nudity. Ask him kindly if he could at least wear boxers or some kind of underwear or if he could just not do it as often. I would love to walk around naked cause i am also a 15 yr. old male. but i respect my parents rules and only stay naked in the bathroom and my bedroom. tell him someday when he has his own place he can do whatever he wants, and won't have to worry about clothes at all!!

This is obviously inappropriate: tell him so and tell him to act appropriately. Make him limit his nudity to private places and not around guests. If his nudity outside his room but away from public places or guests bothers you, forbid that too. If he gives you problems about that, settle it like any other disciplinary manner.

You should also be careful not to instill shame into him about his body when making him be modest. Try to explain that there isn't something wrong with nudity, just that it's something private. If he seems to be very interested in being nude more than that, you could even tell him about naturists, people who choose to have nude recreation, while stressing that modesty is necessary in front of other people in most environments. (If you're feeling extremely brave, you could even offer to find out about family-friendly naturist recreation in your area.)

Maybe he has just decided that he is very proud of himself and wants to see what reaction he gets from being naked. Don't freak him out too much or he may never get naked in front of anyone again... which would be great for you, but perhaps a problem for when he gets older for his future partner/s. You don't want to give him a complex or ignite issues. Just say "What exactly in hell do you think your doing?! Nakedness is for when your in your room or the bathroom or for your future girlfriend/boyfriend! Put some clothes on in front of random people please. It's not what goes on in today's society mate."
Nudity is normal and great. Public nudity... not so much, and also indecent exposure.

How about a compromise? We know there is nothing inherently wrong with nudity. It may be offensive to guests who are not expecting it though.

Why not let him be nude at home when it's just the family around, but when guests are over, have him agree to dress? Look into naturist/nudist recreation for more social outlets.

Nudity does not equal sex, contrary to popular belief.

His actions are so completely and bizarrely not appropriate for his age group, I would take him to the doctor to be examined. You need to explain to him that under no circumstances is what he is doing okay, and that it will not be tolerated.

Please contact his doctor right away. Especially with the fact that this a new behavior, I suspect drug use or some kind of early onset mental illness.

Nudity should be kept in the privacy of his bedroom, running around the house naked isn't exactly private. Tell him to put some clothes on. At that age its a little bit rude to do that.

If you're brave enough, you walk around nude, when he has friends over, and see how he likes it. Other than that, perhaps you could organise some friends to come over, and laugh at him, that might do the trick. Apart from being very abnormal, for a boy of that age to want to be seen naked, is the hygiene aspect of having his bare backside on your furniture-yuk! Tell him that he'll pick up worms.!
