Okay first off you have to realize that the brain is a physical part of your body just like your stomach is. If you have an upset stomach you can take something to help it. The same thing with the brain. If it isn't physically healthy, your mental capabilities and emotions will suffer. I would suggest taking 5-HTP, B12 and B6 vitamins, fish oil, folic acid, and a multi-vitamin (all of which you should be able to get at CVS or Walgreen's. In addition, exercise to release endorphines and do not isolate yourself. Eat raw vegetables and fruit. Pray and read the Bible. Sometimes listening to upbeat positive music can trigger serotonin levels to rise. Do not sleep constantly. Then after your brain gets healthier, talk to a wise man who knows the truth and can give you good advice. If conditions don't improve then I suggest going to see a doctor for an anti-depressant.

On another interesting note, if you have ever stayed awake without sleeping for an extended period of time you will find that a natural anti depressant basically because the body and mind are too 'wore out' to be up or down. However, this is not healthy and resets as soon as you go to sleep and wake back up.

I really don't know. I believe everybody has had something happen to them that has made them feel this way. Unless your the freakin queen, right?! Man, let me tell you, I have been on pain meds and anti-depressants since I was 15. I seriously torn a muscle in a part of my body that limits my ability to move any part of my body withhout pain, and had to try and sleep sitting up for six months, not being able to breathe because it hurt so much and having to know I would have to cope with this pain for the rest of my life. Knowing it would get worse with age and I am only 22. But... life has its perks. It does get better and then it gets bad again but you have to look at the good things no matter how limited they are. I know someone who just had 1500 pounds fall on their back a work. Their spine has been severed and they will never walk again. I look at myself and consider being pretty freaking lucky. You never know the simplest things can be taken for granted, and then one day, they are taken away from you completely. Just hold onto what makes you happy, you never know what really means the most and how quickly you can never have it back. There is more to your story maybe because you seem a little angry. I was very angry too!Why me, right! If there is something very serious going on, like someone is hurting you, you need to talk to someone, the person you trust the most. If there is no one to trust, talk to the authorities. I know, authorities, you can't trust, right? Well I trusted in them once, and they came through, big time. Stop hating the world, I did at one time and it made everything worse. I have been alot better lately. And trust me. I hated the world, but I learned that I was not happy doing so. Just think about it, please?

Go shopping or sing my favorite upbeat songs...and Just think that there are millions of people who feel the way I do and are probably in worse shape. A GOOD sleep also does well. I Watch my favorite sitcom and laugh a little! Laughter is a great cure. My depression is usually about a guy so yeah...Good luck!

Do some regular swimming, an exercise that uses every muscle in the body and gets those endorphines, ( those chemicals responsible for the so-called, 'natural highs',) working.

Clinical depression needs medical help. lt's still best to see a good doctor.
l cured mine by praying and talking to God. lt sounds corny but true. l also keep telling myself "everyone has a problem, if they got over theirs, l can get over mine, too."
Love and light.

That is hard to say. Everyone gets over it differently. I tried meds and pschotherapy but it did not do a thing for me. My therapist sucked!
