Most hypothroidism is caused by an auto-immune disorder that gradually turns your immune system loose on your thyroid, destroying its ability to produce enough thyroid hormones. It is not curable; you will have to take a pill every day for the rest of your life, and you'll have to have the dosage increased from time to time. The good news is that if you take an appropriate dose of medicine daily, you will live a normal and healthy life.

What happens if you don't take that one (inexpensive) pill a day? You'll feel tired all the time. Maybe gain weight. Hair will get thin. Your cholesterol levels will get very high. Your fertility may drop. You may have muscle aches and disturbed sleep. And the constant tiredness can lead to serious things like auto accidents or getting fired for not being able to stay awake on the job.

Just take the medication!

If you have the problem then attack it, if you don't then you will be attacked. Simple solution to your problem is to take FLAX seed oil, they are available as soft gel capsules.

your thyroid isnt working right, no real reason for it, you will get fat, and your skin will get rough, at least thats what happened to a friend of mine, he took the meds and his skin is much nicer now and he dropped 20 pounds in a flash.
