Multitasking is things done simultaneously.

That would be when I talk on the phone scheduling appointments for checkups, dental appointments, etc... While loading the clothes into the dryer, then making lunch for the kids while I am trying to get a cup of coffee down to wake me...
I also drive while on the phone, and this is bad...
I do lots of things while I am on the phone... Make beds, vacuum if I am on hold . Clean the kitchen floor... Etc..... The list goes on and on...

At home - clean house, do laundry & wash dishes at the same time, while watering the plants and feeding the pets.

At work - register new patients, answer the phone, and listen to three people talk to me at once, all at the same time. Oh, and count money and copy insurance cards. And sometimes pull out my hair. Figuratively.

In the car - drive, sing, unwrap gum, read mail.
